In the last match of the year on the Seandún calendar, St. Vincents were crowned the U21B Football Championship winners last weekend in Ballinlough. They played Mayfield in the final in what can only be described as a game of two halves – St. Vincents were out in front at half time, but 3 goals in quick succession for Mayfield made the match interesting until the final whistle blew. St. Vincents Captain James Price lifted the trophy to the cheers of the many St. Vincents fans who showed up on the day. He collected the the cup from Seandún GAA Chairman Mick Higgins, and the rest of the Seandún GAA Committee were also in attendance, as this was the last match on the committee for some of them.

A big thank you to James Regan and his team of umpires and linesmen for a job well done, along with all of the Seandun GAA Volunteers and Delegates who helped out on the day. We now look forward to hosting the AGM in December.
