Douglas GAA Club completed the City Division Junior B Double last weekend as they came out victorious in the AOS Security Junior B Hurling Championship Final against Mayfield on Saturday the 28th of October in Ballinlough. Captain Patrick Tobin stepped up to receive the cup from Cup from Seandun GAA Treasurer Secretary Brian Twomey. Douglas number 7 Luis Fogarty, who won the Man of the Match award for his display in the backline received glassware courtesy of sponsors AOS Security.
We would like to thank Frank Dwyer and his team of umpires and linesmen for a job well done, along with all of the Seandun GAA Volunteers who helped out on the day. Our pitch was again in immaculate condition due to the sheer hard work of groundskeeper Cathal Browne.
