Winners of Cork City Council Cups honoured in City Hall

The winning clubs of the Tomás Mac Curtain, Eilís Mac Curtain, Terence MacSwiney and Muirgheal MacSwiney Cup Competitions were recently welcomed to Cork City Hall by the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Damian Boylan, for a special presentation ceremony.

The Lord Mayor invited representatives of the winning clubs to his chambers at City Hall, where he presented medals in recognition of their achievements in the respective competitions.

The four clubs honoured on the occasion were:

• Mayfield – Terence MacSwiney Cup
• Na Piarsaigh – Tomás Mac Curtain Cup
• Bishopstown – Muirgheal MacSwiney Cup
• Douglas – Eilís Mac Curtain Cup

The occasion provided an opportunity to formally acknowledge the achievements of the participating clubs and recognise their success in this year’s Seandún competitions.

Seandún GAA would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the Lord Mayor, Cllr. Damian Boylan, for his invitation and for taking the time to welcome the winning clubs to Cork City Hall and present their medals, and also to Cork City Council for supporting these competitions.

Congratulations once again to all four clubs on their respective achievements.
