In what can only be described as the closest City Division Final of the season so far, Douglas came out on top by just one point against St. Finbarrs to lift the AOS Security Junior B Football Championship Trophy on Saturday evening, 21st of October at the Pairc Ui Chaoimh 4G Pitch. Joint captains Conor O Donoghue and Odhran Mulrooney stepped up to receive the cup from Cup from Jess O’ Sullivan of AOS Security, this years sponsors, along with two special helpers Calum and Clara. Douglas number 11 Mark Dolan received glassware after receiving the well deserved Man of the Match.
We would like to thank Sean Forde and his team of umpires and linesmen for a job well done, along with all of the Seandun GAA Volunteers who helped out on the day – thanks you also to both clubs who facilitated the fixture change due to this weeks flooding, and for the Pairc that facilitated the match also.
